Updated COVID-19 Precautions

We have been very blessed with good attendance since resuming our Sunday morning worship service.  It is important for the church to gather together, when able, to worship and fellowship with one another.  We also recognize that these are strange times, but the Lord is still in control!
We wish to continue to meet as long as possible during the pandemic, if we can do so safely.  With the recent increase in cases locally, the deacon body has met to help decide if any additional steps are needed.
In order to keep the congregation as safe as possible and make all members, even those most at risk, comfortable in being together we have made the following recommendations starting July 26:
  • All members of the congregation are encouraged to wear a mask in the sanctuary
  • We will have masks available if needed
  • The fellowship building will be available to anyone who cannot wear a mask and needs to social distance
  • The fellowship building will also be live-streaming the service from the sanctuary
  • All services will continue to be streamed online as well
  • No congregation singing, the choir will handle all music temporarily
  • Temperature checks at the doors will continue
  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building
  • Enhanced cleaning by staff will remain in effect
The church feels that these precautions will reduce the risk of any infections during our worship service.  For the time being we will continue with in-person worship for Sunday morning only.  No Sunday School or other programs at this time and until the pandemic situation improves.
Please continue to pray for healing around our nation and communities.  Both physically and spiritually as we all work through this time together.
